Marcus Mifflin

I'm a chemistry major with an emphasis in professional chemistry, and a pure mathematics minor. I've worked as a tutor in SUU’s tutoring center for six semesters, and I've worked as a TA for organic chemistry labs for four semesters as of fall 2018. I was fortunate enough to be a recipient for the Gibson fellowship which allowed me to spend my summer of 2018 conducting organic chemistry research. Over the summer I spent more than 500 hours working on a research project as a part of the endowment. This research project doubled as my EDGE project. Once I graduate, I aspire to go on to get a doctorate in chemistry, which is innately research intensive. Therefore, this project helped better prepare me for my future in research.
